What is a podcast?
A podcast is another name for an RSS feed. The way RSS and itunes feeds work: the user subscribes to them like a magazine and when they are published they download to the user's computer automatically. From there, software like iTunes or ipodder (Juice) will put the file on your ipod or other portable media player when it's connected. Or, the user can just play the file on their computer.
