Easter Flowers - To continue one of Central's long-standing traditions, please bring fresh flowers on Easter Sunday and place them on the cross before either of our morning worship services.

Lenten Ministry Activities

During this season of Lent, we are studying the book Soul Keeping by John Ortberg. This book looks at our most overlooked, underrated and least understood part of our being... our soul. Sunday School classes, Journey Groups and small groups are invited to read this book during Lent so we can all corporately tend to the health of our souls. Please feel free to purchase this book yourself and limited copies will be available to purchase at the Church office.

Lent 2018 Calendar (View the Calendar Here)

During this season of Lent, a series of sermons will be based on the book "The Lord's Prayer" by J. Warren Smith. If you’d like to go deeper into the study of the Lord’s prayer, please feel free to purchase this book yourself and limited copies will be available to purchase at the Church office.

Holy Week (Monday, April 10th - Sunday, April 16th)

Stations of the Cross - Monday through Friday @ 9:00AM - 5:00PM in the Fellowship Hall. Experience Jesus’ last few hours on the cross through prayer, scripture reading and reflection. The stations of the cross have been used for centuries to help us walk more deeply with Christ and to prepare our hearts and minds for Easter.

Monday, April 10th @ 7PM - Service of Taizé. The service is based on the Taizé Community’s worship style which is an ecumenical monastic order in Taizé, Saône-et-Loire, Burgundy, France. It is composed of more than one hundred brothers, from Catholic and Protestant traditions, who originate from about thirty countries across the world. Since 1940, when it was founded, it has become a popular site for pilgrims across the world.

Thursday, March 29th @ 6:00PM - Church-wide Seder Meal. Join us for supper and service in the Fellowship Hall.

Thursday, March 29th @ 7:00PM - Maundy Thursday Worship. We recall and reflect Jesus’ last night with his disciples as he instituted the Lord’s Supper and modeled for them servant leadership in the washing of feet.

Friday, March 30 @ 7:00PM - Good Friday/Service of Tenebrae. Tenebrae means darkness and in the service we will read the passion narrative (Jesus’ last 24 hours) and contemplate his crucifixion and death through music and the Word.

Saturday, March 31st @ 6:00PM - Holy Saturday Service. The darkest part of the night is the hour before dawn. On Holy Saturday we will reflect on Jesus’ death and the day before he was resurrected.

Sunday, April 1st @ 8:45AM and 10:55AM - Easter Worship Services. The dawn has come and we celebrated Jesus’ resurrection.
