Central UMC to Host Next Session of Building Bridges

Since 1993, Building Bridges has been working to dismantle racism by fostering relationships that respect diversity, seek Building Bridgesunderstanding and encourage action. We provide educational programming paired with a safe place to learn, reflect and discuss.

Building Bridges has profoundly impacted people and institutions throughout Western North Carolina. To date, more than 1,500 participants have attended the program.

Each nine-week Building Bridges session offers an introduction to the dynamics of racism and is an opportunity to explore how race has impacted our relationships, communities and institutions.

Cost for the program is $35.00.

For more information and to register for the upcoming session, visit the website at www.bbavl.org or call 828-412-0915.
