STAY CONNECTED

The Nest - "She is clothed in strength and dignity"

Proverbs 31:25

The Nest is a multi-generational ministry for and by women.  Our main focus is an informal monthly gathering where we connect with each other through sharing a good meal, extending friendship connections, delving into thoughtful discussions, and examining our personal relationships with God.

Throughout the year, additional small group opportunities are available through Sunday School, Bible Study, a book club, mission projects, and an annual retreat.

We encourage you to visit our Facebook page called “Welcome to the Nest” where you can dialogue with others and see a real glimpse of the women of The Nest.

If you are interested in more information about The Nest or wish to send us a message to get plugged in or want to share any ideas with us, please send us an email at apricotlion@charter.net or call Linda Sexton-Patrick (828) 484-8081.

Central Women's Retreat

The 5th Annual Women's Retreat at Isle of the Palms March 31-April 3 was a huge success.  We enjoyed good food and fellowship, water aerobics, yoga, beach time, and spiritual sessions centered around God as our Anchor.  Evelyn Stenbock describes it well  - "Strength, rest, guidance, grace, help, sympathy, love - all from God to us!  What a list of blessings!"

"We who have run for our very lives to God have every reason to grab the promised hope with both hands and never let go. It's an unbreakable spiritual lifeline, reaching past all appearances right to the presence of God". Hebrews 6:19 The Message  God is our anchor!
