The Nest - "She is clothed in strength and dignity"

Proverbs 31:25

The Nest is a multi-generational ministry for and by women.  Our main focus is an informal monthly gathering where we connect with each other through sharing a good meal, extending friendship connections, delving into thoughtful discussions, and examining our personal relationships with God.

Throughout the year, additional small group opportunities are available through Sunday School, Bible Study, a book club, mission projects, and an annual retreat.

We encourage you to visit our Facebook page called “Welcome to the Nest” where you can dialogue with others and see a real glimpse of the women of The Nest.

If you are interested in more information about The Nest or wish to send us a message to get plugged in or want to share any ideas with us, please send us an email at or call Linda Sexton-Patrick (828) 484-8081.

Central Women's Spiritual Retreat - March 31 - April 3, 2017

The 5th annual Central Women’s Retreat sponsored by the NEST will be held this year at Isle of Palms near Charleston, SC.  We will be staying in a beautiful home with a beach view and walking access.  The cost for 3 nights is $225 - Friday-Monday - which includes your stay at the home and Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast/lunch, Sunday breakfast/lunch, and Monday breakfast.  Spiritual and Bible study sessions will be provided along with yoga, water aerobics, time on the beach and dining at several restaurants nearby.  This is a great way to form relationships and take part in thoughtful discussions about our relationship with God.
