Central United Methodist Church’s Stephen Ministry:
- is a ministry of our congregation that equips lay persons to provide Christian one-to-one care for those going through difficult times.
- is designed to provide care for those who are experiencing all kinds of life needs and circumstances, both in our congregation and community.
- helps our ministers reach more people with Christian care than they can reach by themselves.
Stephen Ministers are trained, lay caregivers who provide one-to-one Christian care to the bereaved, hospitalized, terminally ill, separated, divorced, unemployed, relocated, and others facing a crisis or life challenge. Our Stephen Ministry team helps provide quality, caring ministry for those in need for as long as they need it.
