Children’s Ministry
"God is love. If we keep on loving others, we will stay one in our hearts with God, and He will stay one with us." 1 John 4:16 (CEV)

Designed for children through the 6th grade, Central United Methodist Church's Children's Ministry seeks to grow children passionate about their faith, striving daily to love and live as Jesus did through thought, word and deed.

Children’s Ministry Team
All of our children’s programs are staffed with well-trained, loving volunteers who are committed and ready and willing to help children experience the wonders of God through Bible study, arts & crafts, drama, music, games, seasonal celebrations, community outreach activities and more.  To be part of this important team, please contact
Jessica Tripp, Central’s Director of Children’s Education.

Sunday Morning Programs
Sunday School classes are available for children ages 2 and up every Sunday morning from  9:45 - 10:45. A nursery is available for infants and toddlers in Room 104.

Children ages two - four explore the Bible through Hands-On-Bible curriculum that invites our youngest children to experience the Bible through lessons that excite the senses and welcome active participation.

Elementary age children participate in Rotation Sunday School where they experience a different themed workshop each Sunday that brings the Bible to life through art, music, cooking, games, drama, puppetry and movies.

Joyful Times and Children's Church invites children ages two - 1st grade to a time of worship and fellowship each Sunday morning following the Children's Time in the 8:45 and 10:55 services.
