Adult Ministries 


Central United Methodist Church offers many opportunities for adult study, fellowship and spiritual growth. Sunday School classes, Bible studies and special programs are available for adults of all ages. There is a place for you!   


Journey Groups
Finding a place of connection and belonging is important in a large church like Central. Journey Groups are designed to reach adults wherever they are on their faith journey helping them to grow in Christ and experience the joy of Christian Fellowship in a small group setting.  [More]
 
 

Adult Sunday School Classes  |  9:45- 10:45 a.m.     

Aldersgate Class   Adults looking for warm fellowship with a wide variety of discussion and study topics.  (Room 410)
     
Branches   Single, married adults 20s – 40s interested in discussing current topics with Biblical base and service projects.  (Room 403)
     
Covenant Class   Adults 50 and over led in Bible study and discussion by rotating teachers. (Room 219)
     
Discovery Class   Adults of all ages discovering Jesus and sharing Him through lecture and discussion. (Boy Scout Room)
     
Growing in Faith   Adults with adult children led in Bible study and discussion.  (The Parlor)
     
Hyatt Bible Class   Mature, mostly retired adults led in Bible study by one regular teacher.      (Room 220)
     
Inquirers Class   Adults interested in topical Christian issues and life enrichment.  (Room 206)
     
New Morning Class   Couples and singles, 30s – 40s, studying family issues and the Bible through teaching and discussion.  (Room 223)
     
Serendipity Class   Adults 40 and up, dealing with current issues relating to Christian living. (Room 305)
