Stephen Ministry:
Christ Caring for People Through People
Bear one another’s burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ.  Galatians 6:2

Central United Methodist Church’s Stephen Ministry:
  • is a ministry of our congregation that equips lay persons to provide Christian one-to-one care for those going through difficult times.
  • is designed to provide care for those who are experiencing all kinds of life needs and circumstances, both in our congregation and community.
  • helps our ministers reach more people with Christian care than they can reach by themselves.
Stephen Ministers are trained, lay caregivers who provide one-to-one Christian care to the bereaved, hospitalized, terminally ill, separated, divorced, unemployed, relocated, and others facing a crisis or life challenge. Our Stephen Ministry team helps provide quality caring ministry for as those in need as long as they need it.

If you need care or are interested in becoming a Stephen Minister, please contact Rev.
