SUMMER 2010 YOUTH ACTIVITIES AND PERMISSI0N FORMSCUMYF’s SUMMER 2010
High School Mission Trip
Inner City Cincinnati, OH
June 20th – 26th
Cost $269
Mission
This summer groups will be serving in the poor communities just south of downtown Cincinnati where many families and individuals are struggling to just get by. Youth will be able to help meet the needs of families and local ministries through hands-on projects such as painting and home repair. This camp offers a great opportunity for youth to put their faith into action and show the love of Christ to an area in need of hope.
Lodging
Groups stay at a local church and family life center with on-site shower facilities, dining area, chapel, and recreation facilities.
Funtivities
There are many options for our free days, but they most likely will include either a trip to Kings Mountain for some roller coaster fun, or a day at the ballpark.
Middle School Mission Trip
Cleveland, Georgia
August 1st-7th
Cost $269
Mission
In this area of the northeast Georgia Mountains, there are numerous communities and neighborhoods of Hispanic families working and trying to just get by. Youth groups will be able to reach out and minister to these children through summer camps and Children’s Outreach Programs right in their own neighborhoods. Groups will also have the opportunity to work with these families through home improvement and repair projects such as home additions, roofing and painting.
Lodging
Groups will stay at TEAMeffort’s new camp, “The Outpost” in the north Georgia Mountains. The camp has bunk cabins, recreation facilities, an open air chapel, and multipurpose building
Funtivities
There are many options for us on our free days, but most likely we will be spending some of that time riding roller coasters, at Six Flags over Georgia.
Wilderness Trail
Troutdale, Virginia
July 17th- 24th

Mission
A Backpacking and Experience Ministry started in part by our own Rob Blackburn. This will be a week, of backpacking in the beauty of Southern Virginia on the Appalachian Trail. It will not only be a great adventure, but a chance for youth and leaders to grow closer to God and one another through fellowship, and a common goal.
